We are a group of Americans, Iranians and Iranian Americans – who are stepping up and making our voices and yours heard throughout the world. We are close to Iran, either through our own personal experience or through those of our friends and family, and we feel a connection to the people and their fight.
The 2009 election has not only been a turning point in politics – but also in youth and in technology. The Technological revolution that has been brought on by the people of Iran is an exciting and historical experience. Web sites like Twitter, Facebook and Youtube, have enabled the people in Iran to move past oppression, no matter how hard the government has tried to hold them back.
The whole world is watching and helping – and we are proud to be a part of the movement.
Our objective, is to educate the public and especially the large population youth inside and outside of Iran – that we are all being effected by what is happening; and if we don’t stand up for our basic human rights no one will. We are here to spread the word, spread hope, and most importantly keep the 2009 Iran election and ongoing protests in the public eye, as this is NOWHERE near over.
To support our cause – and the people in Iran, we ask that you purchase a bracelet from our site. The Bracelets have been designed by an aspiring young Iranian-American artist. She is an activist and a part of our hard working group to keep hope alive. The bracelets will not only be a reminder of our fight, but will also help inform and educate those around you who may not be following as closely.
We appreciate all the support we have gotten so far, and encourage all feedback.
Keep Hope Alive,
The Free green Iran Team.
